The Federal Conservatives voice their concern and upset after Justin Trudeau referred to them in the Commons as “ambulance chasing politicians” over their decision to provide the grizzly details of the murder of 8 year old Tory Stafford when calling for convicted murderer Terri Lynne McClinton to be returned to prison. Andrew Scheer’s Conservatives say the failure to keep McClintic in prison and in an indigenous healing lodge instead resonates with Canadians. The governing Liberals voted down a opposition motion that called on the government to condemn McClintic’s transfer and reverse it. Libby speaks with Conservative House Leader MP Candice Bergen, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer and security expert Ross McLean about this issue troubling many Canadians.
