Mayor John Tory is in the lead over his main opponent Jennifer Keesmaat according to a new Forum Research poll which says Tory’s support is down five points from a month ago to 65% voter support. Keesmaat has seen a slight surge in support from 30 to 35 %. The former city chief planner has been telling supporters Tory lacks vision and is inefficient as mayor but the mayor says he’s sticking to what he does best! John Tory’s high approval rating did not change from the end of July to the end of August. The Forum poll says 58 % of respondents approve of his performance as mayor. While 24% disapprove of Tory as mayor which is down from 26 % a month earlier. Libby speaks with the President of Forum Research, Lorne Bozinoff to learn more.
