Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister gets back to NAFTA renegotiations today in Washington after a 3 month break. Chrystia Freeland will visit Washington after President Donald Trump’s announcement that a bi-lateral trade deal had been reached between the U.S. and Mexico. Trump also issued a threat by saying that if Canada doesn’t become part of the new US Mexico trade pact, he would inflict automotive imports with devastating tariffs.
