The Ford Government’s controversial plan to cut the size of Toronto City Council from 47 to 25 passed yesterday but there is still a chance it may be stopped. A court has agreed to hear arguments on whether this should be in force for October’s election. The legal challenge is coming from Rocco Achampong a lawyer and council candidate in Eglinton Lawrence. Libby also speaks with Councillor Justin Di Cianno to hear why he is in favour of the council cuts.
