Are you a Zoomer who is financially fit and ready for retirement? A new national survey from Credit Canada paints a picture of the dysfunctional relationship Canadians have with their debt and have created The Dysfunctional Debt Survey, a Leger poll of 1,517 Canadians sponsored by non-profit credit counselling agency, Credit Canada found that half of those with debt (47%) believe being in debt has a negative impact on their lives from preventing them to socialize to having relationship issues, loss of sleep, and depression to name a few. We speak with financial experts Laurie Campbell, CEO of Credit Canada and Evelyn Jacks, President of the Knowledge Bureau to get some useful tips for those finding it difficult to cope with their finances.
