The longest college strike in Ontario history has ended. Yesterday MPP’s passed back-to-work legislation to end the five-week long strike by college faculty. College teachers went back to class on Monday, and students returned on Tuesday. Colleges are extending their semesters so students don’t lose their terms. We spoke with Joel Willet, President of The College Student Alliance to get his take on the strike and political analyst Michael Diamond of Upstream Strategy Group gave us his view regarding the political aspect of the strike.
