Taxis and Uber will be getting more competition just in time for the busy Christmas holiday season as ride-hailing company Lyft sets up shop in Toronto and Hamilton. This marks the company’s first market outside the US. Lyft wouldn’t comment on pricing, but they seem to suggest the cost will be about the same as Uber. Libby spoke with Paul Sekhon, President of the United Taxi Workers Association of Toronto to get his take on the new competition.
