In the news: We follow up on the latest coming out of the WE Charity scandal. Yesterday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologized for not recusing himself from the decision making process by the government to award WE with a $900-million contract to oversee a student volunteer program. This, after it was learned that members of Trudeau’s own family have been paId in the past to speak at WE events. The question on many people’s minds: does the PM deserve to be let off the hook despite this being his third ethics mishap? And, what about the projected deficit of $343-billion for this year? We then turn our attention to how Ontario Premier Doug Ford is handling phase 3 of reopening the province’s economy.
