Today’s discussion: life is starting to return to normal and the situation is confusing and inconsistent. Apparently, it’s too dangerous to have a full slate of parliamentary sessions but the prime minister can allow and wade into a protest with thousands of demonstrators. Houses of worship can operate at 30-percent capacity. These are all activities that can spread the virus easily, but we’re not ready for socially distanced patios here in Toronto. And, now that confusion is also coming from from the World Health Organization, which yesterday, caused a furor by saying asymptomatic spread is “very rare”. Well, just minutes before we went to air, they walked that back claiming it was a misunderstanding.
