Jane Brown is filling in for Libby Znaimer today. She is joined by the Zoomer Squad including Marissa Lennox, Chief Policy Officer at CARP, David Cravit, Vice President of Zoomer Media, and Peter Muggeridge, Senior Editor of Zoomer Magazine.

Today, we focus our attention to Woodbridge where a nursing home had to have 18 residents, who tested positive for COVID-19, sent over to hospitals because, according to the management of the home, the level of care they needed “exceeded” what the facility could provide. The union, SEIU Healthcare, is calling on the province to take over ownership of the home. In other news, the Ford government has set a new fixed hydro rate for residents amid the pandemic. Jane and the panel discuss the latest news.
