What do you think the biggest scam in the country is? According to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, an e-mail based scam called “spear phishing” is cheating people of more money than any other scam in Canada. It is a request for money or information sent to a specific person, organization or business.This was the number one scam in Canada last year with losses of almost $37 million. Libby and experts discuss what you can do to prevent yourself or your business from falling victim to this type of cyber crime.
