Every Monday at noon, we bring you the Zoomer Squad. Today’s agenda items: Ontario seniors homes are using the Ontario’s Trespass to Property Act to prevent family members of residents from visiting. Is this being done to stifle complaints about the conditions of these homes? Then, Toronto Police were on site at a Scarborough mall this past weekend. They were there to teach seniors, specifically, about pedestrian safety on the roads. Not everyone is happy with this calling the initiative a form of “victim blaming”. What do you think? Our Zoomer Squad discusses these topics and more.
