It was 5 years ago that Ontario Place put the locks on the doors for good, with promises from the Ontario government that it would reopen in 2017; in time for Canada 150 Celebrations. And while the government has opened Trillium Park and William B Davis Trail that lead into the park, the park itself is in a bad state of disrepair with no signs of any revitalization going on. A panel of city experts made a list of recommendations to the government at the time to ‘bring back’ the park in a vital way to the city. CivicAction CEO Sevaun Palvetzian joins us to talk about what is going on.
