As we edge closer to Canada Day, how do we perceive ourselves, and our neighbours to the south? A recent poll by the Environics Institute says most Canadians are very trustful of its democracy and thinks we are an island of stability in a world of political discontent and populism. At the same time, Pew Research says fewer Canadians have confidence in the United States under the leadership of Donald Trump. Michael Adams, president of the Environics Institute, joins Libby to talk about it.
