May is Bladder Cancer Awareness month, and 8700 Canadians are diagnosed with the disease every year in this country. But despite the fact it is the fifth most common cancer, it is also one of the least funded cancers. For the first time in more than 30 years, a new treatment is now available for Canadians living with bladder cancer. Toronto Dr. Srikala Sridhar played a role in the clinical trials of the treatment and joins us to talk about it. We’ll also be joined by bladder cancer survivor and research advocate Ferg Devins.
