Some terrible news regarding a story we’ve been following. James Acker, who was beaten by a fellow resident at St. Joseph’s Villa nursing home in Dundas, may not live another 2 weeks. A nurse practitioner told Tammy Carbino that her father may not live long enough to get into palliative care. As of yet, there have been no charges, and the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care are silent on the matter.
