On this episode of Finding Your Bliss, we have Sidra Rubin, hailing from Montreal, talking about her popular boutique Blush & Vyne. Sidra took the plunge into entrepreneurship at the age of 26 and has never looked back. Now she sells exclusively in the online space and has a loyal following of women of all ages. Her goal has always been to offer a curated collection of affordable fashion and to connect deeply with her customers. Sidra also writes a blog that she keeps updated on her website www.blushandvyne.com. Also on the program is Canadian performer, director, and theatre artist, Olivia Daniels, who comes on to talk about her new venture, Artists In Residence. Artists in Residence is a new platform which supports artists’ mental health and well-being by providing opportunities for collaboration, discussion, and creativity. Their aim to develop a network for artists to connect with new collaborators; foster and develop new work; engage as a community around social, political, and cultural events impacting the performing arts, and spread awareness of mental-health resources specific to artists. Olivia earned a BFA in Drama from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts. She has worked alongside many acclaimed artists, including Philip Akin, Louise Pitre, Kent Gash, Shelley Butler, Gary Griffin, Michael McElroy, Eden Espinosa, and Chilina Kennedy. Our featured artists this week are New York husband and wife Les Horan and Abigail Lumsden. These two versatile musicians have been recording a video a day during the pandemic and have a beautiful cover to share with our listeners. Visit their website at www.pianolessonsnyc.com.
