On this episode of Finding Your Bliss, we have Canadian physician and mindfulness teacher Dr. Lucinda Sykes on the program. Since 1997, she has directed the Meditation for Health clinic in Toronto — teaching medical programs of mindfulness to more than 6000 patients referred by their doctor or psychiatrist for help with the wide range of problems worsened by chronic stress. See more about her work at: http://meditationforhealth.com/about-us/
Lucinda has also addressed both public and professional audiences all across Canada. She is currently active as a board member of the Canadian Neurovascular Health Society — a registered non-profit organization in support of people living with multiple sclerosis and related conditions.
Since 2018, Lucinda has developed further resources for the emotional well-being of Women 50+. Her special interest group, ‘Mindful Women 50+’, is active at the clinic with special training and courses. Recently this has developed into an online presence at: www.JoyfulAfter50.com
Also on the program, Ezra Jordan is an independent singer/songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. Since his journey as an artist began, he has amassed over 250,000 views on YouTube, 5.5 million streams+ on Spotify, and has charted on the radio in the US. Over the years, Ezra’s sound has transformed into a more real, raw and emotional sound that will allow his fans to dive deep into his psyche and authentic self. His upcoming EP, “117,” represents a new Ezra Jordan that no one has ever seen or heard before.
