We visit with Amy Dicken of the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals of the Poor (PDSA) of London, England. We examine the examples of some of the hero animals who have received the recognition of the PDSA, animals who have gone above and beyond the usual devotion of pets to their owners. We make special mention of Max, the English Spaniel. The PDSA is an organization which also offers care for the animals of those who cannot afford regular veterinarian care.
