On February 11th, 1964 The Beatles make their live concert debut in the US at the Washington Coliseum. Less than 48 hours after the bands’ appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show, they played to over 8,000 screaming fans; kept in control by 350+ police surrounding the stage.
