American singer and guitarist Carl Wilson from The Beach Boys died today in 1998 after a long battle with cancer. A founding member, Wilson provided lead vocals on notable Beach Boys’ songs such as ‘God Only Knows’ and ‘Good Vibrations.’ The youngest brother of Dennis and Brian Wilson, he was still actively touring and recording at the time of his death.
