On February 4th, 1978 The Bee Gees began a four week run at the top, reaching No.1 on the US charts for their single ‘Staying Alive‘.  From the Saturday Night Fever film soundtrack, this was their fifth US No.1, and it also reached No.1 in the UK charts.
