October 1, 1965 – Elvis Presley‘s film Love Me Tender was put before a test audience. The test audience reacted negatively to Elvis’ dying at the end of the film. So Presley was called back to re-shoot the scene. In the new ending, the hero lived and was received more positively by audience members.
