On April 4, 1968 Martin Luther King Jr., was assassinated and many musicians gathered to commemorate his death. In honour of their fellow musician, Jimi Hendrix,B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Joni Mitchell, Al Kooper and Ted Nugent got together at The New Generation Club in New York where they played music all night.They played everything from blues, folk and rock after hearing the devastating news.
