Johnny Kidd of Johnny Kidd & The Pirates was born on this day. Kidd’s 1960 hit, “Shakin’ All Over” was No. 1 in the UK but failed to produce those results in North America. The Guess Who covered the song in 1965 and went to No. 1 on the Canadian charts.
