POLL FINDS SUPPORT FOR DOUG FORD PCs SLIPPING

Deep budget cuts and a jumbled agenda are being cited as reasons the Ford government’s losing support less than a year after its majority election victory.
The Pollara Strategic Insights survey finds 31% now prefer the New Democrats, compared to 30% the Tories, 26% the Liberals and 11% the Greens.
Other highlights … 30% approve of the government, while 64% disapprove.
Only 21% say they voted PC last year because they ”like Doug Ford.”
70% say they did so to ”get rid of the Kathleen Wynne Liberals.”
Among those who voted Conservative, 69% now approve of the Tories, with 29% saying they disapprove.
Geographically, the Tories support is down in the city of Toronto where they’re third behind the NDP and Liberals.
In the 905, the Conservatives are  ahead of the Liberals and NDP.
