TOO MANY CALLS FROM ‘SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS’ PROMPT PREMIER TO CANCEL CELL PHONE

After being swamped recently by calls from certain groups, Doug Ford has had to cancel his cell phone.

The premier has given out his number for months, saying it was a way for Ontarians to contact him directly.
However, his office says Ford was inundated with calls, making it impossible to use.
The premier’s office says people can still contact him through the office phone number or Ford’s official email.
