THE LADY ‘A’ THING ISN’T OVER

The problems aren’t over for the Nashville based, Grammy winning, band formerly known as Lady Antebellum.

The band, now known as Lady A, is suing a Seattle-based black singer who performs under the name Lady A and has for years.

It was earlier thought there had been a friendly resolution to the name problem but the band now says the Seattle Lady A is demanding $10-million to settle.

The Nashville group decided to drop “Antebellum” from its name because of the word’s ties to slavery and life in the southern states before the US Civil War.
