It was 73 years ago today, then Princess Elizabeth married Phillip Mountbatten at London’s Westminster Abbey.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are celebrating today but they’re unable to share the occasion with family because England is currently under a COVID-19 lockdown.

Elizabeth is now 94, Phillip is 99.

This morning, Buckingham Palace released a photograph of the monarch and her husband smiling at a card made by their great-grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
