Britain’s Sir Tom Moore is at it again, confirming the promise in his hit song “You’ll Never Walk Alone”
However, this time it’s not him who’ll be doing the walking.
You’ll recall, the second world war vet raised the equivalent of $55 million CAD for England’s National Health Service by walking 100 laps around his garden as his 100th birthday approached, during first COVID-19 lock down
Now, that the UK is into its second lock down, Sir Tom has launched a new campaign designed to get as many people as possible walking and talking, with the aim of spreading hope and easing loneliness.
Sir Tom says he’d like everyone to stand shoulder to shoulder on this, but given the circumstances, he means that metaphorically.
