Toronto’s 519 Community Centre has lined up a veritable whose who for the virtual edition of its fundraising gala.

 Heading the list, English music legend and gay icon, Sir Elton John.

Elton is scheduled to make an appearance along with his Scarborough-born husband David Furnish.

Other names on the list include Can Lit legend Margaret Atwood, actress Kim Catrall , singer k.d. lang and TV personality Rick Mercer.

That gala will be streamed October 25th, beginning at 7:30.
