Just two days after she was shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize, Toronto Author Gil Adamson has been named one of five finalists for the Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize.
The 59-year old’s sophomore novel “Ridgerunner” is up for the $50,000 honour.
Acclaimed Guleph writer Thomas King is also on the list for his work “Indians on Vacation.”
Debut novelists Maria Reva, Michelle Good and Zsuzsi Gartner round out the list.
The Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize winner will be named at a virtual event November 19th. Each finalist receives $5,000.
