The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted just about everything that we used to take for granted.
The candlelight vigil past Elvis Presley’s grave during Elvis Week will still go on, but in a different manner because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Graceland is planning for a socially-distanced vigil on August 15th that will require free advanced reservations.
The rest of Elvis Week will be a combination of in-person and virtual events.
Events considered high risk, such as live performances, group parties and autograph signings, have been called off.
Graceland will sell admission to Virtual Elvis Week for 39-dollars via a closed Facebook group.
It will feature past Elvis Week events and panels, as well as new interviews and behind-the-scenes events.
A full schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
