A funeral service was held Thursday afternoon for 37-year-old mother and teacher Karolina Ciasullo and her three young daughters – Klara, 6, Lilianna, 3 and Mila, 1 – killed in last week’s multi-vehicle crash in Brampton.
”I was privileged to be Karolina’s sister-in-law and zia to the three angels … the memories are just some of thousands that are going to play like a movie in my mind forever,” the girls’ aunt, Connie Ciasullo, said in her eulogy.
Attendance was limited to invited guests only due to COVID restrictions.
Audio of the service was broadcast on speakers outside the church and it was livestreamed for those who could not be inside the church due to restrictions limiting capacity to 30% at places of worship.
Meanwhile, Peel Regional Police have now charged 20-year-old Brady Robertson of Caledon with four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
He’s to appear in court for a bail hearing July 23.
