American music legend Willie Nelson has been busy writing a memoir with his sister Bobbie.

The book is called “Me and Sister Bobby; True Tales of the Family Band.”

The book tells the story of how Willie, who is 87, and his sister, who is 89, stuck together after being abandoned as children by their parents.  In alternate chapters, they offer their perspectives on the same event.

The book comes out September 15th.  Meantime the Nelsons are working on a children’s picture book called “Sister, Brother, Family; Our Childhood in Music.”   That is expected out in the fall.
