Go ahead, hug and kiss all you want.
That’s only if the person is part of your ”social circle” as outlined by the Ford government.
”This change will expand the number of people who we can come in close contact with, who live outside our homes.  Social circles will allow family and friends to reunite safely while reducing the risk of exposure and spread,” says Premier Doug Ford.
”This means finally hugging your grandparent or sharing a meal with your parents or closest friends.”
Public health officials also say no one should be part of more than one ”circle” and physical distancing should be maintained with anyone outside of that circle.
This makes it easier to do contact tracing if one or more members catches the virus, in which case everyone would have to self-isolate.
Here’s the government’s step-by-step guide to help you safely develop and join a social circle.
