The day you go for a haircut may not be that far off.
Mayor John Tory’s announced that the City of Toronto’s providing guidance to safely reopen restaurants and personal service businesses; including hair salons and barbers, nail salons and aesthetic services.
City staff will be communicating with impacted businesses over the next week – either individually or through local BIAs and the Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association to ensure that the resumption of service can happen as quickly as possible once the province gives the green light.
Restaurant and personal service businesses that have a current licence can prepare to reopen when provincial orders are lifted.
If a new licence is needed, owners can apply for one online.
