Almost 3 years after the cancer death of front man Gord Downie, there is new music from the Tragically Hip…
“Get Back Again” was written by Hip bassist Gord Sinclair in the late 80’s and never made it onto an album but was around as a bootleg classic from the band’s early days playing clubs.
Sinclair released the new recording as a single to raise money for a local Kingston food bank and the Unison Benevolent Fund, which provides counseling and relief services to the Canadian music community.

The Hip became one of Canada’s biggest bands.  Singer Gord Downie’s terminal cancer diagnosis became public in 2016, the band capped its final tour with a show in Kingston that summer.  Downie died a year later at the age of 53.
