You may have caught the Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s You Tube post on the weekend that featured a number of members playing an excerpt from Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring.
What’s especially interesting about this is that the orchestra’s members are all home bound and each played their parts individually and remotely united only by a metronome.
The TSO’s principal double bassist, Jeffery Beecher says the intent was to offer something of solace.
