Premier Doug Ford advises you and other Ontario residents not to get caught up in panic buying or hoarding.
“I’ve personally spoken to the vast majority of major retailers in Ontario,” said Ford.
”And they’ve assured me that our supply chain is currently able to handle the additional pressure.”
For example, Ford adds there’s plenty of toilet paper, it’s just a matter of getting it to store shelves.
The premier’s also announced the government will introduce legislation, which if passed, would protect employees who cannot work due to the coronavirus.
Finance Minister Rod Phillips will not be delivering a budget on March 25th, but rather an economic and fiscal update based on the government’s best understanding of the current situation.
Ontario is now reporting 32 new cases, mostly in the GTA, bringing the total to 177.
Meanwhile, pump prices are expected to fall another 9-cents Wednesday to 75.9-per-litre
