Amidst all the arts events being cancelled or postponed comes word from England that the 50th anniversary of the Glastonbury Music Festival is still a go.
The headliners are Sir Paul McCartney and American music sensation Taylor Swift with music legend Diana Ross to perform in the legacy slot.
Organizers admit that no one has a crystal ball to see exactly where we’ll be in 15 weeks so they’re proceeding with 90 new names added to the line-up. They’re betting that the festival can go ahead if the spread of COVID 19 slows down.
175,000 tickets have been sold for the event which is scheduled for June 24th.
