At age of 90, Toronto-born acting legend Christopher Plummer is as busy as ever.

The Oscar-winning star of the “Sound of Music” was recently a category on “Jeopardy,” has a role in the Oscar-nominated murder mystery “Knives Out” and his new Vietnam War-focused film “The Last Full Measure” opens in theatres in Canada tomorrow.

“The Last Full Measure” features Plummer as the father of the late William H. Pitsenbarger, a young U.S. Air Force para-rescue jumper who saved nearly 60 men in one of the bloodiest battles of the Vietnam War. It co-stars William Hurt, Samuel Jackson, Ed Harris and the late Peter Fonda in his final screen appearance.

Plummer, who is the great-grandson of former Canadian prime minister John Abbott, has a Golden Globe, two Tonys and two Emmys and to go with his Academy Award.

Plummer also has a connection with ZoomerMedia. He and ZoomerMedia founder Moses Znaimer have been co-lead patrons of Dying with Dignity Canada. Plummer also narrated a documentary which aired on our sister station Vision TV called “The Trouble with Dying.”
