”Highly likely” an Iranian anti-aircraft missile downed the Ukrainian jetliner, killing 176 onboard, including 63 Canadians.
That’s the belief of two American officials.
Donald Trump’s openly speculating the same.
”Somebody could have made a mistake on the other side,” said the U.S. president.
”It has nothing to do with us.  It was flying in a pretty rough neighbourhood and somebody could have made a mistake.  Some people say it was mechanical, I personally don’t think that’s even a question.”
Asked if he believes Iran shot down the plane by accident, Trump says he didn’t know.

The possibility a missile may have brought down the plane was also raised on Zoomer Radio’s ”Fight Back” by aviation safety consultant Keith Mackey.
”We can’t rule out that it may have been shot down by mistake,” said Mackey.
Ukrainian investigators also say they have not ruled out that the plane may have been hit by a missile.
The British government also says it’s investigating ”very concerning” reports about the crash.
Canadian investigators from the Transportation Safety Board will be permitted to join the investigation.
Foreign Affairs Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne has talked to his Iranian counterpart and says Canadians have ”many questions which will need to be answered.”
