1960's COUNTER-CULTURE GURU DIES AT 88

He was best known for joining Timothy Leary and experimenting with LSD then traveling to India to find enlightenment and sharing that through his Love, Serve, Remember Foundation.

1960s counter-culture spiritual leader Baba Ram Dass has died at his home in Hawaii.

Dass’s birth name was Richard Alpert. He wrote the iconic 1971 book “Be Here Now.”

He was 88 years old.
