Ford also announced he will head up a council on provincial-federal relations.
That team will include Deputy Premier and Health Minister Christine Elliott, Treasury Board President Peter Bethlenfalvy, Finance Minister Rod Phillips, Economic Development Minister Vic Fedeli, Infrastructure Minister Laurie Scott and Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney.
The goal will be to work with federal counterparts on priorities such as healthcare, infrastructure and economic growth; specifically pushing for increased funding through Canada Health Transfers, removing red tape and attracting international investment.
