One of the most sought after photographers in London in the 1960s has died at 81 after a battle with prostate cancer.
Terry O’Neill was the acclaimed photographer who took the iconic images of musicians, actors and cultural figures of the time.
Among those he photographed; Faye Dunaway by the pool the morning after winning an Oscar for her role in “Network.”
O’Neill also shot The Beatles during the recording of their first hit single, “Please Please Me,” in the backyard of Abbey Road Studios in London in 1961.
He captured iconic images of Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Jones and Frank Sinatra.
O Neill passed away quietly over the weekend at his home In London.
