Unlike in Montreal and a long list of other Quebec municipalities, Toronto is not postponing Hallowe’en to Friday.

The tradition of door to door trick or treating is moved to Friday night in most of Quebec due to a scary weather forecast which includes heavy rain and high winds.

There is an Environment Canada rainfall warning for Montreal and area, calling for between 40 and 70 millimetres of rain with winds gusting to 80 kilometres an hour between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Here in Toronto, the forecast is much the same, but Hallowe’en is going ahead Thursday night, as it does every other October 31st.

Should Toronto postpone Hallowe’en too, or are Montrealers just being soft? Have your say Thursday after the noon news on Zoomer Radio’s Fight Back with Libby Znaimer.
