Justin Trudeau says you and other Canadians gave him plenty to think about Monday night.

In the prime minister’s first public remarks since the election, Trudeau says a clear message was sent and received.
”Canadians sent the clear message that they expect their leaders to work together on the big issues that matter to them; two of them being the fight against climate change and affordability, cost-of-living for people right across the country as we work to build a better future for them all,” Trudeau said.
”I’m committed to working on that.  Fortunately those are big parts of our platform, but we’re also going to work with other parties to ensure that we are making the right decisions for all Canadians.”
Trudeau also says he intends to sit down with the party leaders in the coming weeks, but has no plans ”at all to form any sort of formal … or informal coalition.”
The prime minister adds a gender balanced cabinet will be sworn-in November 20.
