Good news for GM workers in Oshawa as the automaker recalls all its roughly 2,000 workers after the United Auto Workers union in the U.S. reached a tentative deal earlier this week.

Production is resuming at the plant even though the UAW decided to remain on picket lines until its roughly 49,000 members vote on the deal, which is not expected until later next week.

The month-long labour dispute forced GM to close Oshawa and cut back production at its St. Catharines plant because of a lack of parts coming from the U.S., but automaker says there are enough parts to restart the Oshawa assembly plant.
