Actress Felicity Huffman has reported to a low-security prison in the San Francisco Bay area to begin her sentence in her role in the U.S. college admissions scandal.
Huffman will serve a two week sentence after pleading guilty to fraud and conspiracy charges for paying an admissions consultant $15,000 for someone to correct her daughter’s SAT exams.
The “Desperate Housewives” star was also fined $30,000, ordered to perform 250 hours of community service and a year’s probation.
There have been 51 people charged in the scandal.
